Future Creature-Margay

The margay is a spotted creature that may look like a mini leopard with many spots. Each spot is different from each other making them all unique! This extraordinary creature looks interesting with a brownish-yellow though tan coat, black spots, stripes, and blotches running lengthwise along their bodies. The margay would adapt, getting darker fur to hide and blend in with its surroundings. Margays will grow to the size of a lion depending on its environment. I believe because of the scarcity of trees, the margay's claws would get larger to run faster and tunnel deeper, living in the ground to escape the heat of the rainforest to the cold dirt of the rainforest. When living in the ground, I feel that margays would dig a second hole, covering it with leaves when the unexpected animal comes by. The prey would fall in the hole, awaiting the margay's vicious attack.
