The non-invasive coquí frogs are native to rain forests located in Puerto Rico being 2.5 inches big. These tiny frogs eat mostly small bugs that spend more time on the ground then in the air so they are easy to catch. Due to deforestation, coquí frogs bodies will need to increase in size. Coquí frogs bodies will grow stronger which will allow them to quickly kill, eat, and process larger prey. Since they will need to camouflage themselves in the grass from predators and prey, their body color will need to change to camo set of dark brown, light brown, and green. Lastly, with less trees, there will no longer be dead leaves for newborn coqui frogs to hide in. Thus, they will have to gain a water life stage as a tadpole so they can survive the infant stage.
