Howler monkeys will soon become agile creatures due to their necessity to travel for food on the ground at longer distances instead of jumping around trees, so they’ll adapt to stronger and longer limbs. Also, savannas have many open areas, so the monkeys will be more spread out, due to their separation in finding food in different areas leading to louder howls to be heard. To protect themselves from predators, their fur will be a lighter shade for camouflage, and their sense of smell will continue to become more phenomenal, as the necessity of detecting food at larger distances increases. Their teeth will turn out to be rounded due to the absence of nuts and seeds in their previous diets, where they had longer tails to travel by jumping on branches which they won’t need anymore, due to the lack of trees, leading to smaller tails. Let the howlers thrive!
