The jaguar is a large cat; it is native to the Americas, and it is the only living member of the genus Panthera. Currently, the jaguar is nearly threatened, and global warming will endanger this beautiful animal. Because of this future event, I thought of how the jaguar would mutate and adapt to the new environment. Currently, the Jaguar has large paws that help them climb the trees in the jungle. In the future, this animal won’t need these large paws and will have big claws because the animals that it will hunt are stronger, and to survive, it will need to have more offspring 2 to 4 babies per mother. The jaguar will also have bigger teeth, so it can pierce easier through stronger animals like the gazelles, warthogs, and the zebra. The Jaguar will also have dark fur because it will only be able to hunt at night.
