Currently, Mandrill’s live in West Africa, most of them in rainforests of Equatorial Africa. They are a monkey-like animal that has sharp teeth, and colorful designs on their bodies. Mandrills have many threats to their life-style, but the 2 biggest are deforestation and decreased rainfall. Since Mandrills are monkeys, they do spend some of their time in trees. If people knock down their homes, they would have to find somewhere else to live. If there is decreased rainfall, the Mandrills diet would have to change because a main part of their diet are fruits and seeds which need rainfall to grow. If this happens, the mandrill will need a diet change. A way they can change their diet is by learning to swim, so they can eat fish. They would need to grow webbed feet to make it easier to swim.
