Chameleons Now & in the Future

I chose a chameleon as my futuristic animal .In thousands of years I believe new animals be discovered ,so chameleons will have to teach themselves to become two different colors at the same time .That way it is hard for animals even with amazing eye site to find them.For example blue for one part of the body and the other part beige .Those colors would stand for water and dry grass because it might be more hot, with more dry grass in the future. Also chameleons could teach themselves how to change color faster, In case the chameleon doesn't hear the predator until it is 5-10 feet away . Today a chameleon takes 30-50 seconds to change color. I believe in the future they would teach themselves how to change color in 10 or less seconds. That is how I believe chameleons will adapt to climate change in the future.
