Spider Monkey

Spider Monkeys live in tropical rainforests. Rainforests will lose trees because people are cutting down trees to use them for buildings and farmland. It will look like a savanna. The savanna has rolling grassland with scattered trees and shrubs. They use their long tails to swing across from tree to tree and use their strong grip to hold on the trees. They eat leaves and fruits from trees. If we don't have trees, they can't eat or stay safe from predators. Adaptations that the Spider Monkeys will get are that the tail will get shorter, its fur will change to tan so it can camouflage more with the ground, it will get bigger and be able to stand on 2 feet so they can scare away predators. For food, it eats the branches, grass, and weed seeds that would grow in savannas. With these adaptations the Spider Monkey will survive.
