The New Toucan

I decide to pick a Toucan, which primarily live in rainforest habitats. I gave my new toucan a thick, strong beak in order to protect it'self in the predicted open savannah future of its habitat. It also has larger wings with stronger muscles in order to fly the long distances between trees in the savannah. It also has black rims around its eyes to protect its eyes from the harsh sunlight in the open fields and see it's prey and predators clearer. Finally, the toucan has an overall brown color to help it blend in with the tan and brown color of the savannah.
