The Maned Wolf

My animal is the maned wolf. They live in the Amazon Rainforest. They will need to adapt by moving to the savanna, because it is under protection while the rainforest is not. Both the rainforest and savanna have around the same heat and prey. They will have to adapt to their environment by their coats turning brown. This will help remain hidden so they can attack their prey and hide from predators. Since they hunt alone rather than in packs, they will need to evolve to learn to accept a pack. This will make hunting and defending against predators easier. They will also be able to find a mate easier in a pack, so they will have more of a population. The maned wolf will evolve to have an omnivorous diet and go less hungry as a result.
