The pygmy marmoset lives in rainforests and makes their homes inside of forest trees, and bamboo thickets. Pygmy marmosets make their homes close to or near rivers. They are omnivores, meaning they eat plants and meat. The pygmy marmoset eats spiders, flower nectar, fruit and grubs. The pygmy marmoset is a type of monkey, it's a very petite monkey. That is why it has got the nickname “finger monkey”. It's like a fury, super tiny, adorable monkey that you can hold easily. The pygmy marmoset will be endangered or extinct. Due to deforestation, more rainforest animals are beginning to go extinct. It shows 200,000 acres of rainforest are burned a day. If all trees become extinct, the pygmy marmoset would have to resort to living on the ground of the rainforest. Causing them to be hunted by snakes more often. Which could result in making them extinct.
