Golden Lion Tamarin are small monkeys with vibrant beautiful golden orange hair which is very alike to a lion’s mane! They are very small around the size of a squirrel and they’re also called the clawed monkey because they actually have claws instead of flat nails like other monkeys. As of now the population is only 2,500, which means they’re endangered. Description of Future Creature: Due to climate change, the Golden Lion Tamarin has developed features to acclimate living in a shrubland. They will develop sharper, larger, claws to help them dig and burrow better. Instead of bright orange fur, they will adapt and have brown fur to help them hide from predators and blend with their surroundings
