Poison Dart Frog

Description of Present Creature: The poison dart frog lives in the rainforest and when temperature get high the frog has to hide under shade to cool down. Other than hiding under shade there’s no other way to cool down. With climate change affecting the weather, hiding under shade might not even work to cool down for frogs Description of Future Creature: As the temperature rises within rainforests, frogs needed to find a different way to cool down. They soon noticed it would be cooler to burrow underground than to live up on the surface. To do so, they developed stronger legs to burrow themselves underground and spend most of their day under the ground. This worked out perfectly as it was easy to find food such as termites while also cooling them down.
