Its diet consists of fish, snakes, turtles, small mammals, and birds. It. The rain forest Alligator’s biggest threat is deforestation because it wouldn't be able to hide in water and blend in with green plants. With deforestation, the rain forest Alligator will have to grow bigger with larger legs and a yellow brownish scaly skin to blend in the grasslands and to be able to eat and catch food. The rain forest Alligator must adapt to its new environment to be able to survive because if it keeps its adaptations from the past it wouldn't be able to survive and eat anything.
