My future creature

My animal is a jaguar. He lives in the rainforest right now and he hunts for food in the water and on land he eats only meat so he is a carnivore and can be very quiet when he is hunting for food so they can't hear him when he is moving around. He does get killed by other animals but gets hunted more by humans hunting them. But about many years later there was a sun ray that hit the ice and it melted into lots of water. tons of water flooding the rain forest and it made the jaguar have to be in a tree and hunt in the trees and they learned to swim for survival.
