Lovely Fairywren

My current creature is the Lovely Fairywren. It is a small, colorful bird of the rainforest. The Lovely Fairywren flies, and perches in the treetops and canopies. They are usually found in small family groups, and are one of the eleven species of Fairywren. Their diet mainly consists of insects, but also other bugs such as spiders, and crickets. Some adaptations are their clawed feet to hold onto branches and feathered wings to fly. My adapted creature lives in the desert. Since there aren't many trees for the Lovely Fairywren to stay or hide, it now has long legs ready to run from predators. Their diet stays almost the same, but switches to common desert bugs.
