Have you ever wondered what Ring Tailed Lemurs would look like millions of years from now? Currently, they are known for their long, black and white tails which are bigger than their bodies. They have the ability to live up to 18 years in the wild and over 30 years in captivity. Ring Tailed Lemurs eat: leaves, flowers, insects, fruit, and small vertebrates. In the future, I believe it will be warmer than it is now, resulting in shorter trees. Ring Tailed Lemurs’ tails will decrease in size because the trees are not tall enough to swing around in. Their fur will become light gray in order to attract less heat. They will still be able to maintain their current diet even millions of years from now.
