Future Creatures Challenge

The lemur is an animal that is native to rainforests. They are known for their long, black and white tails, and big eyes. Lemurs have a gray color for heat regulation, and their long tails also help with heat regulation. The tails also help with balance, since lemurs are active tree climbers. Their long snouts and big eyes help them see light in the dark because they are nocturnal animals. In the future, lemurs will probably lose their gray color. They will instead adopt a lighter gray color. This is because of climate change. Their tails will get shorter because there won’t be a lot of trees to climb, and they will lose their balance. Light pollution will cause them to no longer be nocturnal, and their nose and eyes will get smaller. In conclusion, this is how the lemurs are now and how they will change in the future.
