My snake lives in the rainforest. Its green helps it blend in with the leaves on the tree. One of the things the snake eats is small animals. The body of the adult emerald tree boa is green with white, irregular stripes. It has a yellow underbelly. Adults generally range from about 4-6 feet. It has long curved front teeth that can inflict a painful bite. In the future, the emerald tree boa would change its adaptations if its habitat changed to the Arctic. The emerald tree boa would have to change in an adaptation instead of green helping it blend in with the leaves on the trees it would be a light blue-green to blend in with the icicles that it wraps around and instead of scales, it would be fur. It would eat arctic hares because there are no small animals in the arctic.
