Crested Geckos are tiny geckos endemic to New Caledonia, they are a tropical species dependent on this climate. Changes to their environment could make their species extinct. Currently, these geckos live fast jumping from wet tree to canopy. Though their life isn’t all fun. Crested Geckos have a multitude of adversaries in this environment. Crested Geckos are typically 10-24in long, they are lizards with scales and feet with tiny hairs and claws for gripping. Many issues like new/invasive species, & ecological destruction create future threats for the Crested Geckos. In the case that New Caledonia turned to savanna I drew adaptations that the Crested Gecko may have to adapt itself to the new and changing environment. I demonstrated this with a more defensive bone structure & legs built for mobility in desert environments. Perhaps with eyes & a body built to keep moisture in, due to less availability of water
