The sugar glider lives in the rainforests of Australia; they also have a membrane in between their limbs that they use to glide. They are omnivores that eat different things each season, mainly insects and plants. Sugar gliders are social creatures that prefer having other sugar gliders around. The things that would change in the future would be their physical features, with the rising sea levels there would be more water around with a hotter climate but more variable weather, which could mean lighter fur, a loss of the ability to glide, built to swim more, and they would still be social creatures. They would be bigger, letting them eat bigger things than just insects like smaller animals or bigger insects. These future sugar gliders would be adapted to different weather conditions like snow, heat, rain, and much more that would now inhabit Australia's rainforests.
