Black Panther Adapts to Change

The black panther is a species that resides in the rainforest climate. This animal is known for its dark-colored fur, hence the name. Unfortunately, climate change is continuously increasing causing animals to adapt to survive. Climate change causes hotter temperatures and changes in rainfall patterns which is not what animals like the black panther are used to. It is possible that in the future the black panter’s black fur will become a lighter color to cope with the heat instead of its usual panting. This would give the panther a more efficient cooling system. The lighter-colored fur would reflect sunlight and keep cool.
