My feature creature is a sloth if it was affected by higher sea levels. The area is a coastal rainforest. In my model before the effects, I emphasized the features on the sloth such as its stubby teeth to eat plants, slow movement, and long claws. The effects of the sea levels adapted the sloth into a creature that lives mainly in the water, with its hydrophobic fur and sharper teeth. The sloth's diet in the future could potentially change so it would need sharper teeth to capture its food. I also gave the sloth webbed fingers and larger claws for more efficient moving and swimming. The sloth won't be completely faster but it would be able to glide through the water much easier.
