This makes them more effective hunters. They eat 85 varied species of animals. This is helpful because if one of its food choices goes extinct then they have 84 more food options which is a lot. They are strong swimmers. This helps them if they want to cool down and helps them hunt. The first future adaptation of the jaguar is to have webbed feet, so that they can swim faster if the rainforest floods. Their next adaptation is to have scales to be able to withstand stronger bites from more sea animals because the sea animals adapt to an unfamiliar environment over millions of years. Their next adaptation is having a more seafood-based diet because of the floods.
