If a drought were to occur, the Orangutans would have quite a few adaptations. Their fur would be very thin and short due to the rising temperatures. If they still had long hair, they would die due to heat stroke. They would also have sharp teeth instead of dull teeth due to the food resources changing. They would eat small animals because there wouldn’t be that many plants left. Due to them needing to now hunt for their food, their arms would be shorter because they need to run fast, and long arms would get in the way of running, and their legs longer due to needing to run fast to catch prey. The environment would go from having trees, grass, and a small stream to being dry, with very little water, and only have plants that can stand excessive heat, like a cactus.
