Red Pandas Now vs. the Future

Red pandas spend most of their days resting and storing energy. They prefer high-altitude and they are usually high up in the trees. They are omnivores, but they rarely eat meat. Red pandas have thick, red and black fur. They have fur on their paws and long claws that help them grip on tree branches. They have a long tail for balance. There are many ways that red pandas could change in the future. One way red pandas could change is because of global warming. Red pandas might have thinner fur. Also, because of deforestation, I predict that red pandas will spend more time on land and that they will have shorter claws because they won’t climb trees as often. They might start eating more meat because there will be less nuts and berries. These are some ways that red pandas could possibly change in the future.
