No matter how many times a snake sheds its skin it will always remain a snake. This is true but there will always be advancements. My creature, the green python, is a large rainforest reptilian. Its green scales help it match its environment, this adaptation was made eons ago. Now eons later it faces the large problem, global warming. As water from the ocean starts to rise many ecosystems will be destroyed or drastically changed. If this happens the green python will have to survive on water. I believe the green python will grow fin attachments to swim more efficiently in the dark water. The green python will slowly fade into a green brown color to camouflage in the murky rain forest water. It will also have strips of green to mimic sea grasses. Its razor sharp eyes have two clear eyelids for more protection against the contaminated river water.
