Pink Tiger Dolphin

Present day pink dolphins live in the Amazon River and like to eat fish, shrimp, and piranhas. They travel in groups of 2-4 and are secretive. Although they are born gray, they turn pinker as they age. Male dolphins use the bright pink color to attract mates. The future pink tiger dolphin has adaptations to live in the open sea since sea level will rise and flood the rainforest. It will develop adaptations like gills to filter out salt water and stronger, bigger teeth to eat larger prey. It turns a bright pink once a year to attract mates. The webbed tail fin will expand and collapse when it swims and jumps to help it move faster through the water. As the dolphin swims deeper into colder waters, it develops stripes to help camouflage it. A larger echolocation organ on its head helps communicate with other dolphins at longer distances.
