About 1,000 years from now, heat will significantly increase, and tropical rainforests will also experience 10–20% less rainfall, which will lead to longer dry seasons and more fires. I believe as tropical rainforests get hotter, green anacondas will become more and more aquatic until they reach a point where they are mostly aquatic animals, and their green color already provides camouflage in water and outside of water. My first illustration is the green anaconda in its natural habitat and it’s raining to show that the rain patterns are still not as bad as in the future and my second illustration is in the future when the snake has become mostly aquatic, and the sun is out since it rains less now and there’s more heat. The snake has turned a shade bluer because of spending so much time in the water. Most aquatic animals are blue.
