SLOTH HABITAT

Sloths are mammals that are known for being lazy and hanging from trees in tropical rainforests dotted around Central and South American rainforests.. Sloths are commonly seen lounging on branches and hanging from trees with their eyes closed. They only move when necessary and sleep for about 15 hours of their day. Sloths almost never leave the trees because of the danger. Because of their low energy levels any land predator would easily outpace them. In the future I believe that sloths will evolve into ground-dwelling creatures. Their front claws will become a three fingered hand with an opposable thumb and their back claws will become bigger for digging. They will live in holes because most trees have been wiped out in the rainforests. They will eat grubs and insects for food and gain tough skin under their fur to protect from predators.
