Currently, the Bridled Forest Gecko lives in the Amazon Rainforest. However, the species may be forced into the Atacama Desert, because of climate change and human interference. Because of global warming, the moisture in the air is less, but the trees need more, but they don’t have enough, so they die, releasing more CO2 into the air, contributing even more to global warming, and the cycle repeats. I think that the Bridled Forest Gecko could adapt to the desert, because they eat ants and cockroaches among other things, and ants and cockroaches thrive in the desert. Bridled Forest Geckos also already have a brownish color, and I think they could adapt to have a bit of a lighter color to blend in with sand to camouflage. I think the Bridled Forest Gecko could survive in the desert and become the Bridled Desert Gecko.
