Western lowland gorillas are located in Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Guinea. Lowland gorillas are herbivores. They eat pith, shoots and leaves. Fruit is also important in western lowland gorillas' diet. Over 100 fruit species have been recorded in their diet. In the future the gorillas are going to need to have stronger teeth because they are going to become carnivorous and eat meat. There are going to be less trees, and the grass will be dry because it won’t rain as much.
