The Burroughing Bird

First, my animal is a toucan which currently has a bright bill, small claw talons, and small wings. I added three adaptations that would be important in the predicted future environment which includes all the trees being cut down. I will list them here: big wings, dull bill, and big feet. I decided not to use big wings because the future habitat that was predicted would have no need for flying since all the trees would be cut down. The dull bill would be used for camouflage with the ground and dirt since it wouldn't be as colorful and green. Finally, the big feet would help it dig a home underground in the predicted future environment.
