The Gold Dust Day Gecko is very colorful. It has feet that are bright blue, red speckles on its back, and a lime green body. In the future it will have gray bony strong scutes that trap moisture to keep geckos alive by covering its green color. With more pollution and smoke, the environment will be more gray, helping to camouflage it. Because of global warming everything will heat up and animals will die and become extinct, with this adaptation they will survive. It normally eats flowers, but because of global warming, there will be less flowers meaning they will need forage for new food. Another thing that would change is that the tongue will become longer and can stick out like a frog to catch insects. They will have a forked tongue that will help them find the new food even when they’re not used to that food.
