Sun Bear

The animal I chose is the Sun bear. These bears originate from the rainforests of Southeast Asia, and there are less than 10,000 Sun Bears left. In the first drawing, we see the Sun Bear in the flourishing rainforest of Southeast Asia. The Sun Bear’s distinct features are long claws, its teeth, and its long tongue, almost all included in my drawing. This animal is an Omnivore, so you can see the plants and ants at the bottom. In the “After” drawing, the Sun Bear lost color and weight. I believe most of the Sun Bears diet will decline a lot since plants would die along with many of the insects, and the Bear would look starved and desaturated. In addition, the habitat of the Sun Bear changed a lot, the main change being deforestation, and in the background, you see the smoky sky caused by fewer trees.
