The Speckled Caiman is a reptile that is found in rainforests all over South America. It’s is very colorful, and its is quite long, since it is used for swimming and balance today. It also has webbed fingers that help it swim through rivers. In 1,000 years, the caiman will have a tan coloring, its tail will be shortened, and its fingers won’t be webbed any longer since there won’t be much of a need for swimming because of global warming. Global warming and human pollution will take out most of the trees and water so the caimans would have to adjust to their new habitat with new predators and prey!
