The reason I chose a Capybara is because it was the first animal that came to my mind, and I also thought of how cute they are. Now to the Capybara in my first picture. I drew a Capybara in our present day. They have reddish to dark brown skin, and they have small ears to keep in heat. Their teeth grow constantly, and an adult Capybara grows 20-24 inches. My Capybara with adaptations is regular, but with some tweaking. Out of the three differences, the first one is bigger ears, for the present day Capybara the Capybara had smaller ears to keep warmth. In the future, Capybaras have bigger ears for dryer climates. The second change for the future Capybara is a hump. The reason there is a hump is for moisture. The last adaptation is one that I came up with which is longer legs.
