Future Creatures: Capybara

The animal I have chosen is a Capybara. I chose a capybara because to me they looked they most interesting. To me Capybaras in 20 years would be a dark red, they would be dark red because of global warming. Capybaras are not endangered, but they will become endangered because they are threatened by deforestation, habitat destruction, and illegal poaching. A couple of causes of deforestation are logging, climate change, mining,oil companies, and agriculture. They will also become endangered because they are being hunted down for their meat. A cause 0f climate change is cutting down forests, cutting down forests to create farms or pastures, or for other reasons, causes, emissions, since trees, when they are cut, release the carbon they have been storing. Capybaras could also be a problem, the concern is that thai animal could start eating corn or sugar cane, harming Florda’s crops
