Leopards are amazing creatures that roam the rainforests of parts of Africa and Asia. Their bodies are various shades of brown, yellow, and beige, and they are covered with rosettes. Leopards are nocturnal animals, which means they sleep during the day and are awake at night. They are a solitary species. As you can see, leopards are incredible animals. Have you ever wondered how leopards might adapt in the future? I think that in a millennium the rainforests are going to dry up and become savannas because of climate change. When this happens leopards would have to hunt together because food would be scarce. Their prey would be easier to find during the day, therefore leopards would be diurnal. Leopards’ color would be lighter to help them camouflage in their habitat. In conclusion, in a millennium leopards would look and behave very differently than they do now.
