They change colors because of deforestation and climate change. Before deforestation and climate change they had light colors and black spots and were easy to find. After deforestation and climate change they need to camouflage into their new environment in order to survive. Poison dart frogs used to show a symbol that they were poisonous.You could tell that they were poisonous because of their black spots. After poisonous dart frogs camouflage you cannot tell if they are poisonous anymore because you don't see their black spots. Another interesting fact is that poison dart frogs have to put their eggs on a leaf and close to the water because they start their life as tadpoles. The males are in charge of taking care of the eggs.
