In southeast Asia´s Sundaland, with the water rising by 11´, deforestation destroying the natural habitat of its creatures, and increased human threats, leaves the animals to change and evolve from the last time we saw them 1,000 years ago. The Borneo Elephant become much shorter, being 4´6´´ when fully grown instead of 7´. Water rising made it necessary for the Borneo elephants to live mostly on the water, now producing mucus to slide though the water. The Borneo can now use its trunk to lift and pull underwater and to see what's under the water at any moment. Their melanin production has returned to normal due to the deforestation letting the sun get through the rain and trees easily, making them a bluish color instead of red. Hunting has also made their tusks shrink substantially, making hunting them less valuable.
