Tigers are big and strong carnivores that live in the tropical rainforests. They have striped fur to hide from their enemies, sharp claws and teeth to hunt their prey, and loud roars to communicate with each other. They like humid and warm places with many plants, where they can find enough food and water. But climate change could make rainforests different. I imagined how tigers might change, too, to survive in the new habitats. Here are my drawings of the possible adapted tigers. If rainforests become savannas, tigers will have fewer trees and more grass. They might have lighter fur with yellow and brown colors, to blend in with their surroundings. They might have longer legs and shorter tails, to run faster and chase their prey. Cooperation and protection would become essential for tigers living in herds, as they would face more dangers and challenges in the savannas.
