The picture on the left is a jaguar. It’s eating food that the jaguar caught hunting in the rainforest. But later on in about 500 years, the sea levels can get higher and the temperature the jaguar can handle is getting hotter and hotter. The rainforest would also turn into a savanna. They would have to change their adaptations to swim and go underwater longer and faster if they’re living near any body of water. Also, they would have to hunt during nighttime because the day would be very hot for the jaguars to run and hunt. Over time, the jaguars might develop genetics to make them handle heat better than they did the first time. Still, we’re not sure if they can adapt to these changes so we have to protect and help our planet Earth for this amazing creature to live along with us, humans.
