Future Turtle

My animal is the turtle whose natural habitat is in near the water. Turtles don’t have to be in the water but they do like the water. The world is heating up because of global warming. The ice and snow will start to melt causing the water to slowly rise up and flood places such as the rain forest. The animals and the water level change together. The world is going to be a different place. When this happens, turtles will not be on land that often, and they will have to swim a lot. In the future the turtles will turn blue in order to blend in with their habitat in order not to be seen. Turtles are animals and they don’t know that its dangerous outside so they have to protect themselves not in a way by using their brain, but by adapting naturally that way.
