The Great Hornbill is a rainforest bird commonly found in mainland Southeast Asia, known for its brightly colored bill that is curved downwards and has a casque. It feeds off fruits and small mammals, eggs, reptiles, and insects. The Great Hornbill's habitat is threatened by deforestation, and it is currently at risk of extinction. In order to adapt in its future environment, the Great Hornbill's casque and beak become sharper in order to hunt for food. Its size is decreased in order to minimize its weight, helping it fly faster. The Hornbill's colors become faded in order to camouflage itself within its environment. These changes can increase the rate of survival for the Great Hornbill.
