At present, the Rhinoceros Beetle lives in the rainforest. As the rainforest diminishes to make room for humans, the Rhinoceros Beetle will have to find a new habitat in the suburbs. Currently, the Rhinoceros Beetle can grow up to 6 inches. However, in the suburbs, there will be less nectar and sap for it to eat. So, the Rhinoceros Beetle will only grow up to two inches. Because there is less food, the Rhinoceros Beetles will fight more often over food sources and the winner will consume the loser. So, the Rhinoceros Beetle will need to blend in to disguise itself from other Rhinoceros Beetles. Right now, the Rhinoceros Beetle is black, gray, or greenish, but in the suburbs it will be black or brown. Presently, the Rhinoceros Beetle has six legs, but it will need eight legs to run faster in the dangerous suburbs.
