Turtle over Time

My animal was a turtle and its environment flooded so it evolved. My turtle evolved to have camouflage and spikes to protect itself from birds. It now has gills to hunt underwater for shrimp; it can also eat mangoes. When they lay eggs they burrow in tree roots under water. To be safe from predators. They stay with their eggs until they hatch. The turtles also have long tails and flippers to navigate the water with ease. This is what I predict will happen because of global warming and it is a real problem and I hope that this never happens. Thank you for your time.
