Millions of years in the future, the rainforests of New Guinea have flooded and are now wetlands with deep waters. The orangutan, once a tree-dwelling primate, has evolved in order to survive these strange conditions. They are now elegant swimmers with slick oily hair to repel water for swift swimming and more efficient hunting. Yes, these once peaceful creatures are now omnivores surviving on piranhas and fallen fruits. They have a unique hunting style of cutting themselves on rocks so piranhas are lured to the blood. Then they strike, fast with leathery webbed hands like a pitcher’s mitts catching as many of the carnivorous fish as possible. Then the chase begins, they use their powerful tails and webbed feet and hands to chase their meal.
