Agalychnis callidryas… you know them as the red eyed tree frog. With orange feet and scarlet eyes, this creature roams the beautiful forests of Central America all the way to north-western South America. The red eyed tree frog has vivid hues, with cherry eyes, tangerine feet, a lime case, and blue near the limbs. The red eyed tree frog feeds off of grasshoppers, flies, and other insects. Its predators include alligators, toucans, and snakes. The frog is used to warm climates and high humidity. If a drought struck the rain forests where the red eyed tree frogs lived, many of the frog’s food sources would be cut off. This is mainly insects, so it would switch to be a herbivore. Another thing that might happen is the development of sweat glands. Also, it might evolve running feet as the need of jumping from branches is not as necessary.
