The Javan Rhino here has adapted to the climate change of the future in this example. His eyes are red due to the salt water adaptation. Once irritating his eyes now he can spend all day in the water. He needs to as this climate change situation includes major flooding of his natural habitat. On the island of Indonesia, once a massive land area is now mostly underwater but a small peninsula where humans inhabit most of it makes it hard for the rhinos to return to land and risk being hunted. It's new colors are so that the rhinos can see each other in the water. With its bright orange face it can easily identify other rhinos underwater. Its arms have now become almost like shark fins and it uses them to swim through the water allowing the rhino a powerful, fast swim.
