The Sloth

The sloth currently lives in the canopy layer of the rain forest. Sloths have multiple adaptations that make them successful in the rain forest. One thing that makes them Successful is their curved feet and their long nails. Sloths have long nails to help them fight off predators because of how slow they move. Sloths have curved feet to help them grab branches. In the future, the sloths will be almost the same except the color will change to fit their marsh environment. The color will change to more of a gray with a little bit of green. The sloths will also have shorter hair. Shorter hair will make it easier for sloths to swim faster and the color change will help them blend in with the water and the leaves and the trees a little bit better.
